It’s true. I’m headed to Barrie for 5 days with plenty of time to photograph families.
Second shooting brings together all the best parts of a wedding day with none of the actual stress. I don’t think that’s a secret but it sure does feel like it sometimes! A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding along side Scott Turnbull at Port Cunnington Lodge, just outside of Huntsville (Muskoka). Oh! And nothing beats a Port Cunnington Wedding day in June – blue skies and Muskoka Chairs. Thanks Scott and the whole incredible team – check out the list at the end of this post.

We shot this last fall. In November…what a season it was! Fall in cottage country was perfection last year. It lasted until December and it couldn’t have made me happier (fyi I heat with wood). We were very lucky! Not going to lie, I was little concerned about our reading week engagement session in the middle of November. In Muskoka the weather is less than predictable. As you can see though, we hit the jackpot! Coleen and Neill are getting married on this old family farmhouse property, just outside of Bracebridge in Muskoka. Can’t wait for this day. Outdoor weddings in Muskoka are where it’s at! Oh, and they have an incredibly photogenic dog-baby.

I photographed my brother for the first time. He laughed at me. Borderline mocking. Regardless this happened. They’re beautiful.
It happened at our family cottage, north of Muskoka, and all last minute. They are too dreamy. Cheers to love.

I love second shooting. It’s glorious! Working with Katie Langmuir is my dream – on both sides. She’s one of the best photographers I know! I love second shooting for her and I love when she shoots for me. I cried all over this day out of pure happiness and joy. The bride and groom, Laura and Scott are kind and above all genuine. Here are just a few of my highlights from their June wedding downtown Kitchener.
