A Canadian Photographer

This family is hilarious. Loud. High pitched. And totally silly. Sometimes you just have to surrender to what it means to be 4-year-old twin boys – wild and sweet. And what it means to be the responsible oldest sibling (‘mom, did you bring the parking pass?’ + ‘I can’t ride without my helmet’). I had the best time photographing this fam.

They will be married tomorrow and I will love it, SO MUCH. The best thing about working my ass off all summer is working for couples like this, that get married in places like these. Muskoka Cottage Weddings are the best.

Coming all way from the East Coast to Muskoka, it was fantastic meeting this sweet family. Baby V was a perfect little delight. I think it may be obvious, if you’re a regular blog visitor, but cuddling with little people all afternoon is absolutely one of my favourite things to do. I loved this Muskoka Cottage Session.Dwight Family Photographers Dwight Family Photographers Dwight Family Photography Dwight Family Photography Huntsville Family Photographer Muskoka Family Photographers, 2013 Huntsville Family Photographer Gravenhurst family Photographers Gravenhurst family Photographers Gravenhurst family Photographers Bracebridge family Photographers Bracebridge family Photographers

I met Susan 10 years ago…the same summer I met my husband. Her and I lived at a Girls Camp in Sundridge. We enjoyed a couple of wild summers, swimming, teaching, playing, raising flags and singing together. Now we find ourselves living like grown-ups, getting married, and finishing law school (obviously her, not me). We’ve had this weekend planned since the spring. There was only one day during the entire summer that worked for all three of us. After a wedding near Collingwood, an impromptu family session in Midland and meeting with a sweet Penetanguishene couple everything fell neatly into place…except for the weather. It was a wet Sunday of wind, rain, dark skies, and little hope. Alas, as I said, it was the only day that would work…and so it did, it worked. We talked about their 2014 Toronto Wedding, thought about DJ’s and more photo plans. We reminisced about girls camp on Lake Bernard.  All in all it was a perfect Sunday at their family ski cabin in near Collingwood.
