A Farm Engagement//Bracebridge Wedding Photographer
We planned our ‘first date’ based on wanting to shoot this engagement session. Four hours to check out their venue, Taboo Resort in Muskoka, have a couple of drinks, maybe a snack and shoot a beautiful sunset engagement session…sounds reasonable, no? No…well, as it turns out ‘yes’.
Taboo is AMAZING and you could walk around for hours (also try and find parking for hours), a drink and a snack at the Griffin Pub in Bracebridge, along with some wedding chatter takes a long time, sooooo I need to start planning a full day for engagement session dates! Alas all ended well. Not that I wasn’t worried. It was 7pm, the sky was dark with wet clouds, I had planned our last frames for a sun-shiny 8/815pm. Essentially we had 45 minutes to make magic. If you checked out my previous post you’ll see that that e-session took 8 hours. Gahhhh!
These two totally pulled it together! I was astounded at their ability to be so sweetly, gently, and honestly in love in the face of wet grass, wet skies, and hungry mosquitoes. I can’t quite express the sense I relief I felt after my first set of frames. You two, Melissa and Reggie were a pure delight on Saturday. I look forward to your upcoming Taboo wedding, the songs, the dances, the wild morning of prep. Cheers to you both!
