Oh, this was a special engagement session! From romantic matching shirts in High Park to ‘authentic’ pirate costumes in the Distillery District then a make-out session in Chapters on Bloor, we got it all in! As I get to know Sue and Sean more and more I’ve learned that they’re anything but traditional, definitely not conventional, and totally-perfect for one another. I’m not sure if it’s their taste in fantasy novels, each of their engagement rings, commitment to a ‘board game lifestyle’, knowledge of Japanese comic culture, love of sweet potato fries and dress-up, or an unspoken understanding that certain elements of their home decor hold more importance and relevance than real live living creatures… It was the first lesson of many for me, in a certain kind of love/culture. I really can’t wait for their July (non-wedding) wedding. Here is just a quick look at what turned out to be an 8 hour long-city wide session.
