Liz and Cheryl {almost married}

Two of my favourite women will be wed this September. I love them wholeheartedly as does my love, Jason. We have grown so fond of Liz and Cheryl that spending time with them is like a breath of fresh air, perhaps a deep sigh of relief, maybe even as joyous as hanging laundry on a sunny day at the cottage. Do you know anyone that makes you a better person…well Liz and Cheryl have made Jay and I a better couple. They were the MCs at our wedding, they are our go to people for Korean at Clinton, and they will be our end of the world family (we imagine a global collapse, at that time they will escape to the north and we will raise children and vegetables and chickens and goats, all together away from disaster…what a lovely dream it is?!?).

Without further ado I am pleased to present you with a wedding shower. We laughed, we cried, and we ate and ate. And now I’d like to share it with you…

Greg {in the kitchen}

I work 2 days/week for an awesome little place on the edge of Algonquin Park. Northern Edge Algonquin is an eco-retreat centre at the North West corner/Access point 1 of Algonquin. Thursday I ventured out to the lake and shot all day…I started off with a little food photography in the kitchen with Greg (who is an incredible cook), then followed one of our groups as they readied for their trip into the park (those I’ll post to our Edge blog later). PS My fave food magazine is SAVEUR…always an incredible source of inspiration for beautiful gourmet food photography fabulousness. Here are my fave shots of G-Money in the garden then in the kitchen…yum, yum.

Enjoy.
