Amyand Tammy {married}

My husband, Jay and I had the great pleasure of photographing Amy and Tammy’s wedding in Dwight, Ontario this weekend. We first met Amy and Tammy through my cousins, at our cottage one rainy weekend last year. So it was a bitter sweet surprise to found out rain, rain, and more rain was in the forecast.

The Wedding ceremony and reception were held at The Foxwood Resort which is a charming little cottage resort nestled quietly on Lake of Bays in the heart of Muskoka. I shot “photobooth” style for a couple of hours before the ceremony, Jay was incredible…running from one end to the other barely missing a beat. He did a great job capturing some very telling candids. I have to say I could not have done it without him.

The entire wedding day we felt like family. Amy’s dad Jim, the go-to guy made us feel very welcome and all of their guests were wonderfully kind…not to mention beautiful. The day went off without a hitch! Regardless of the drizzle the wedding ceremony was outside on the patio underneath 100 raised umbrellas. We were all thrilled, and proud, and excited to witness this union.

Thanks so much to Amy and Tammy, we loved photographing your wedding!

A thousand shots later, 300 of the best, and just a few of my favourites…here they are.

    Seeing the beautiful and telling photos you take, makes me want to get married all over again, just so you can capture that. Maybe for the next big stage in our lives!
    Can’t wait to see more…
